This role oversees our global market business activities, with the primary objective of building and growing a subscription business to complement our existing techno-commercial consulting business. The role is based in London.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage market business forecast & plan with the aim of establishing and growing business presence and revenue generation.

  • Lead market business ‘Go To Market Strategy’.

  • Own and manage the development and protection of our market IP and keep that data consistent with the protocols of our existing techno-commercial consulting business.

  • Oversee and contribute to market project activity.

  • Build market project delivery capability by leading recruitment, developing and managing staff.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Consultant to lead our EMEA Market Insights for sustainable fuels, with a primary focus on Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) and Renewable Diesel, with the potential to expand into other green fuels and chemicals. This pivotal role will lead our market and techno-economic reports for the European SAF market, and contribute to our global SAF studies. Working closely with our Insights and Consulting teams, and benefitting from established Green Star BCS expertise and intellectual capital, you will become the recognized industry expert for the EMEA SAF market and contribute to our already impressive growth in the rapidly evolving sustainability sector.

This is a London-based assignment.

Responsibilities

Research

  • Lead the development and delivery of market and techno-economic reports for the European SAF market; develop relationships with market participants; report on short and long-term market and price developments; understand production costs, feedstocks, and technologies; and provide actionable insight on market trends.

  • Monitor and interpret regulatory changes, policy developments, and market dynamics impacting sustainable fuels in EMEA, and their context within global SAF markets.

  • Contribute to global Market Insights reports and analytical models.

  • Ensure all reports and analyses are accurate, timely, and meet high-quality standards.
